Making digital transformation accessible to SMEs
This project features a software that supports digitalization projects in smaller companies that need to keep up with the fast changes in the manufacturing sector. The idea for it originated from the collaboration among software developers and industry experts under the scope of a project supported by Innovation Norway (Innovasjon Norge) - the Norwegian Government’s instrument for innovation and development of enterprises and industry.
From development and testing to market release, the project involved active cooperation among an international team made-up of people from Norway, Bulgaria, and Brazil, without mentioning stakeholders and advisors from other European countries. The final product is a software as a service, a cloud solution that allows employees from all levels to access and monitor the performance of their production line from any device with access to a web browser. In a sense, the software creates a new communication channel between humans and machines through the use of data.
